Privacy Policy
Information Collection and Use
Relaxability® Inc. ("we") is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not use or disclose this information to others in ways different from what is stated in this Privacy Policy.
We collect information from you at several different points on this site and maintain this information in our customer database. When you register on this site, you are required to provide name, address, phone number and email address. If you purchase any products or services on this site, you are required to provide certain financial information, such as credit card number and expiration date. We use the information that we collect from you to enable billing, to fulfill orders, and to provide you with information about programs, special offers, and other products and services based on your preferences. We also use this information to improve this site, for development of new programs, products and services, and for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes.
We will not sell or rent any of your personally identifiable information to any third party without your permission. This information may be shared with the sponsoring institution/organization. We may provide certain non-personally identifiable information, such as the number of visitors to this site or the number of items purchased on this site, to third parties in aggregate form. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will disclose information required to be released pursuant to federal, state, local or international law.
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer this site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Children
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from users under the age of 13, nor do we knowingly market to such users. Nevertheless, if we become aware that a user under the age of 13 is attempting to register on this Site or order any products or services on this Site, we will ask that user to provide the email address of his or her parent or guardian. We will then send that parent or guardian an email from us alerting them to the child's activities. We will not knowingly permit that child from continuing such activities until we receive the appropriate consent of his or her parent or guardian.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on a user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on this site. Once a user closes his or her browser, the cookie simply terminates. If a user rejects the cookie, he or she may still use this site. The only drawback to this is that he or she will be limited in some areas of this site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance their experience on this site.
Security
We have implemented a number of security features throughout this site to prevent the unauthorized release of, or access to, the personal information that we collect. For example, all of your credit card information is encrypted and protected using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. While on a secure page, such as our ordering form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just "surfing".
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also protect user information off-line. All of the information that we collect, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment. Access to the server area is protected by a multi-level key card system, and all visitor and vendors are escorted at all times.
Please be advised, however, that although we have endeavored to create a secure and reliable site for you, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to/from this site cannot be guaranteed. We urge you to exercise caution when conveying personal information over the Internet. When disclosing any personal information, you should remain mindful of the fact that it is potentially accessible to the public and, consequently, may be collected and used by others without your consent. You should therefore consider carefully if you want to submit sensitive information that you would not want disclosed to the public. You should also recognize that your use of the Internet and this site is solely at your own risk. You agree that we have no responsibility or liability for the security of personal information transmitted via this site or via the Internet in general.
